Academics
Driven to Learn - Prepared to Lead
At Fairview Christian Academy, our students are taught that high standards fall short of their potential if they don't meet a higher purpose. Each student is taught the purpose of life: stewarding our talents so we can glorify God as a disciple of Christ. With this as our foundation, students are taught that academic achievement is a means of honoring God, regardless of post-graduation plans. Whether your student is preparing for college, the workforce, the military, or doesn't even know yet: FCA is here to partner with you to prepare your student to lead and succeed in life.
Diploma
FCA exceeds local and state educational standards with a 26 credit diploma that will prepare your student for life, not just college or the workforce. In addition to core educational classes, FCA is privileged to offer numerous electives in addition to a fine arts program.
Accreditation
Fairview Christian Academy is an accredited school as recognized by the Tennessee Department of Education through the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools and Cognia (formerly AdvanceEd). While the process of accreditation maintains FCA's academic accountability, FCA seeks to exceed the standard required for each category of accreditation and has done so since its first accreditation in 1988.
Standardized Testing
FCA students take the Iowa standardized test annually and the Cognitive Ability Test (CogAT) biannually. FCA students regularly achieve scores that are above the national and state norm.
ACT Testing
FCA is privileged to offer the ACT on site twice a year. FCA students participate in ACT preparation in many secondary classes, and students registered for the ACT participate in ACT preparation classes each semester. Through the guidance of FCA faculty, students regularly achieve ACT scores above the national average.
