Admissions

Enrollment Process

1. Interview and Tour

Because protecting the culture of FCA is the priority of administration, prospective students are required to interview with FCA administration. While the administration is interviewing the student to assess cultural fit, parents are encouraged to also be interviewing the administration to see if the school is a good fit for their student. At the conclusion of the interview, the administration will take the student and family on a tour of the FCA facilities.

2. Complete Application

After completing the interview and tour, all prospective students must complete an application. This application may be completed online. Students in grades 9-12 will be required to provide a pastoral reference with their application.

3. Application Decision

The administration of FCA will review each application on a first-come basis. The final application decision will be made within 48 hours of being received. Application decisions will be communicated via phone call and email.

4. Registration

If a student is accepted to Fairview Christian Academy, registration will be required. All paperwork and associated fees must be completed prior to the student being fully registered. A student may be accepted to Fairview Christian Academy yet placed on a waitlist if the student's class is full. The required registration paperwork includes:

  • Pastoral Reference Form
  • Statement of Cooperation (signed by parents and student)
  • Tennessee Certificate of Immunization
  • Birth Certificate
  • Permission for Medical Attention/Release from Liability
  • Sudden Cardiac Arrest Form

Following submission of all registration paperwork, all K-12 students will be required to complete entrance testing. Results from this test will be used to assess whether additional tutoring, summer school, or grade retention is necessary prior to being fully registered. Students will be required to provide a copy of their latest report card.

Students must reach the chronological age required for a given grade by August 15 to be placed in that grade.
