School Safety

Your Child's Safety: Our Highest Priority

At FCA, we take seriously the trust parents place in us by enrolling their children at FCA. It remains the priority of FCA to ensure each student is kept spiritually, physically, and emotionally safe while enrolled at FCA. To maintain our committment to student safety, FCA maintains safety protocol that is best-practice while investing in safety initiatives, upgrades, and devices that further improve student safety.

Spiritual Safety

The culture of FCA remains a culture of acceptance built on the standards of the Bible. FCA does not tolerate bullying of any kind and expects students to treat each other with kindness. Through Biblical immersion, weekly chapels, and select spiritual emphasis days, the climate of FCA is Christ-centered with a focus on kindness.

Physical Safety

Beyond the spiritual safety of our students, we recognize our responsibility to maintain the physical safety of our students. Beyond normal classroom policies and procedures that mitigate accidents, FCA maintains a level of prepardness that is ready to be implemented if the need arose.

  • Safety Awareness: all exterior and classroom doors remain locked at all times. Daily security routines by administration ensure the security of the school campus. Through strictly-enforced visitor policies, the FCA administration is always aware of every individual on the school campus.
  • Safety Drills: FCA conducts normal emergency drills so students and staff are prepared to act in the event of an emergency.
  • Safety Certifications: all FCA staff and faculty are CPR and First-Aid certified by the American Red Cross Association.
  • Safety Investments: beyond safety protocol and procedures, FCA has invested in devices and technology to mitigate the chance of student injury. These investments include:
  • ActiveDefender school safety platform.
  • LifeVac Anti-Choking devices
  • Trauma Kits
  • Night-Lock Door Barricades
  • Night-Lock Door Window Shades
  • Robust campus security camera system

Emotional Safety

No student should be afraid of going to school. As the third leg of the safety stool, FCA is committed to maintaining the emotional safety of our students. We believe that a school culture built on God's word and surrounded by logical safety procedures will result in students who can attend school without the fear of violence of bullying.

Current Fundraising Opportunity!

For the 2025 Annual Fundraiser, FCA is raising $50,000 for security upgrades to further improve our student safety. The safety fundraiser will consist of three giving campaigns.

  1. Student Donation Campaign: with an individual goal of $200 per students, our students are trying to raise $18,600 towards the $50,000 goal. Update: as of October 1, 2025, our students have reached their goal of $18,600!
  2. Give 10% Campaign: with the addition of the Education Freedom Scholarship (EFS) through Tennessee, we are challenging each of our parents who received the EFS to make a campaign contribution that equals 10% of their normal tuition for each EFS they received.
  3. Business Sponsorships: to raise the remaining $7,500, we are asking local businesses to invest in the future of our community by helping us improve the safety of our school campus.

Current total amount raised: $24,900.
