Is FCA just for students in Fairview Baptist Church?
While FCA exists as a ministry of Fairview Baptist Church, 70% of our student population attends local churches other than Fairview Baptist Church. If you do not have a church home though, Fairview Baptist Church would love to host you for a church service! Services meet each Sunday at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
What denomination is FCA?
While FCA is a ministry of a local Baptist church, our goal is to graduate students who rely on Christ for salvation and glorify God through using the Bible as the sole compass for morality and direction. The school will teach solely from a Biblical basis while encouraging a growing walk with Christ from our students.
Does FCA offer transportation?
While FCA is blessed to own several vehicles for transportation to field trips, athletic events, and other extracurricular activities, FCA does not provide transportation to and from school.
Does FCA accept the Education Freedom Scholarship?
As an accredited school approved by the Tennessee Department of Education and the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools, FCA is able to accept the Education Freedom Scholarship.
Does FCA offer financial aid?
While FCA attempts to maintain a tuition commensurate with the value of the education received, there may be times unforeseen hardships complicate a family's financial position. Are FCA teachers certified?
All FCA teachers are certified to teach in their educational area through the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools.
What curriculum does FCA use?
FCA uses the Abeka curriculum in all elementary grades and a mixture of BJU Press, Abeka, and Positive Action for Christ in its secondary classes.
How long is the FCA school day?
The FCA school day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:05 p.m. Students may be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. and may be picked up as late as 3:30 p.m. without incurring additional fees. After-Care is available for K3-12 students from 3:30-5:00 each afternoon.
